How did everyone in the NY area do with all that snow towards the evening. At first in the morning I thought it wasn't going to snow and then I saw how there was a lot of water on the ground, thinking it might be ice soon. Walking to even a near by store was like walking through a jungle today and passing each inch to get to the next block. As it turned to evening, I saw all the snow coming in heavy amounts and didn't think anything of it until I saw everyone in my place staying in because the roads were bad and mind you we have old used cars. To drive in bad weather is not worth it to get stuck somewhere we have to tow. I even helped someone to push their car into the drive way, it wasn't very tragic but all the same there was a lot of snow this past two weeks. I feel like its mid November even though its February, was thinking that idea of heat tents to melt the snow might come more in handy than sprinkling rock salt everywhere. Just a thought now but maybe who knows in the future could be new ways to deal with this since many people have to go to work and earn that money, it can become a bothersome to walk or even travel in this snow.
