Hello,
Eventful days versus Uneventful ones is always on some people's minds. Did I do a lot today or did I do enough. I think everyone does his or her share of work in a timely matter. If you slept all day because you had a very eventful night socializing and drinking while your counter part worked all day and closed a million dollar deal, how could someone say one was more eventful than the other. Do we measure it on money or fun. For me I don't think anyone should feel worst off just because you feel you did less than the person next to you. We all live our own lives and just can't stress over competing with someone else even if it's your sister or brother. Just have to do as much as you can for that day and don't be ashamed to rest, we are not robots even though some jobs in question might treat us like it. For instance, I walked outside today and noticed that everyone shoveled yesterday to allow people to walk on the sidewalk. Some didn't and as I was walking outside for the second time, I noticed some fixed it and shoveled today and some still had a lump of snow ,which made it very annoying to walk around. I can't blame someone for not doing it, but it comes to question, are they lazy or are they just busy with work and couldn't find the time. I played around with the new snap chat feature and it was very interesting, I don't say it was bad just gives me more to watch when I am bored. I was watching the show the Flash earlier, in one scene this character was given a job as a journalist from her writings in her blog. Now if I was offered a job like that I might not take it, since I would always do my research before I take on any job, I don't want to be shipped off somewhere as soon as I accepted and signed. I know what your saying, more money means it will be fine, but I always want to know how that money is made before I make sure its what I want, like when someone told you when you were little what you wanted to be when you grew up. I bet mostly everyone would hate being asked that question especially when its rephrased as where do you see yourself in 5 years. I think there is no right or wrong answer especially when its your life and not a interviewers job to find out. Even if you have given a answer in the past, I bet it was a half bull answer that just wanted to land you the job. Mostly everyone wants money so they can buy anything and everything ,but we all know we need a job to match the pay rate we wish for. As technology advances we can pick up things quicker and maybe one day have the things we craved for when we worried about them.
